1. Can someone please prove this for me? I can't remember how to do it .

(cosx.cotx)/(1-sinx) - 1 = cosecx

Thanks , it's a while since I've done this stuff, so I'm a little rusty...

(cosx.cotx)/(1-sinx) - 1 = cosecx
(cosx.cosx/sinx) /1-sinx - 1
= cos^2x / (sinx - sin^2x) - 1
= (cos^2x - sinx + sin^2x) / (sinx - sin^2x) (cross multiplying)
= (1 - sinx) / (sinx - sin^2x) = (1 - sinx) / ((sinx)(1 - sinx)) = 1/sinx = cosecx
3. Thanks a lot for that mate !!!
