best way to study

Whats the best way to study?!? i mean i read my eco. txtbk and take notes but for all the other subjects i fall asleep while studyin the material!! also if i study 1 1/2 months b4 the exams and with bout 4hrs durin wkdays and roughly 6-8 hrs on the wk-end, will it be enuf.....wut can i do that'll make stick to studyin instead of daydreamin off?!?
well, you need to make it fun! Dont sit there with your head in a book 4 hours a night!! The key to success is getting the information into your Long Term Memory (LTM), and to remember that your STM (short term memory) can only hold 7+-2 items. So you need a way of getting it into your LTM, which can be done by using different techniques. Try sticking, for example, any equations on coloured paper in places you usually visit each day. Use chunking methods, for example make a song thingy- 'My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Naming Planets' (which is the order of planets), or 'Oh Be A Fine Girl Kiss Me' (surface temp of types of stars  )

Spend about 1 hour per day studying, and set yourself times when you will have a break/when you will stop. Go over material a few days later. Then try some past paper questions, or read up about interesting parts of your subject to familiarise yourself with the subject (i think this makes people more 'subject aware', meaning they can guess questions they dont know about the subject more effectively).

The sooner the better! If you start soon, you will be more confident with the material, and will probally be less stressed during exam time

Besides reading your notes and textbook, make sure you do some past papers so you know how the questions will be like.

Personally I'd do a lot more than only one hour a day - I remember doing 5+ hours a day for my GCSEs...

Edit: Obviously I split that time up into different subjects! I wouldn't spend that many hours a day on one subject even now, unless it was the day before or the day of an exam.

For the time being yes. Later on you need more than 1 hour.

how much did u guys study 4 mocks?
one of my teachers says the best time to study is as soon as you get up, as you remember the most! i'd try that one if i could ever wake up earlier enough not to be in a rush :p:
