aaaaah i hope this doesnt happen to me. I wanted to live at my accomodation during freshers as this is where most friends/ socialising is done. I completed my app on time so fingers crossed maybe we'll get some accomodation on time as we both have unconditional offers

Apparently they only changed their criteria this year! Last year they were guaranteeing all first year undergraduates a place in halls/apartment. It's a pitty they've changed it now! :mad:

Shortly before the end of August, if last year is anything to go by. They'll send you a letter explaining the details.

Ohhhhhhhh, so it's in a lump sum, around the same time that the student loan is paid into the account (as it's split into three payments).

is hampstead residence any good?? cuz i got offer for it as well. i think i might ring the ppl up tmr and ask if i could get a swap to more central london which is closer to waterloo campus
