Best EPILATOR to buy?

I want to buy an epilator, I know its supposed to hurt badly, but I'm sick of waxing all the time, surely it must be less painful than waxing.
Ive been reading reviews, and many people have said the Ice ones are *****,
anyone got an epilator, which one do you recommend me to buy?

I want one with/which:
plugs into the mains
used for all over the body
can be used on sensitive skin
doesn't take long to use

My girlfriend does. Its amazing how much happiness hairlessness can bring to women.

I have a philips satinelle super sensitive one. Its pink. Its quite good. It half numbs the skin with a massager thing attached to it so its not as painful as it could be. It cost me bout £40
Oooh I'm kinda interested in getting one of these...

You'd be forgiven for thinking I'd used one already.

iv got one iv got one of the satin ice ones that philips does. ur right the ice stuff is ****! i dont bother with it i just use the epilator on its own but its really not that painful, especially as u say u wax all the time so ull b fine. its only really painful if uv always shaved and then epilate.
mine was quite expensive; around £50 i think (this was about 3 years ago) but u can get them for quite cheap off ebay.. my friend bought one that was new identical to mine for i think about £20? (it was new as well)

I think they all take freaking ages.. I can't remember which one I had, but I never used it much.. I could withstand the pain but I don't have hours free to do it!
I've never heard of an epilator before. What exactly do they do? How do they remove the hair?

Pull it out from the root.. they're a bit like electric shavers but with lots of things that look like tweezers in them!

i find its really quick! i can do both legs up to my knees in about 10 mins (as long as theyr not too hairy to start off with lol) which is waaaayy faster than waxing wer u have to heat up the wax and then do all that crazy stuff with the stick and the paper blah blah.... and then u miss a section so u hav to do it again (im a hot wax girl)..
of course its nower near as fast as shaving but then at least u dont have to do it as often.
I accidentally shaved a small piece of ankle of recently. That's what you get for not wearing your glasses in the bathtub. So maybe I'll ask for an epilator for my birthday... they look more fun than razors. Plus, new blades are really expensive!
Thanks for all your replies, I have been reading loads of reviews and this one looks to be the best option atm, tell me if I'm wrong.

I have that one too! Boots had a sale on recently, so it cost me £30, but it's back up to £45 now. But you do get triple points.
