Just the standard stuff? Not going to do courses or these 'online modules' that seem to be popping up on the usual websites or going to meetings offering 'accredited CPD points'?

Online modules are being increasingly promoted for the Foundation Programme - I didn't have to do any but I know the current ones do.

As for Specialist meetings - if you are keen to pursue a competitive specialty and can attend relevant meetings will look good on CV/application form (and certainly for the ST3 application form this year were points for that).

I've been collecting my RSM certificates for a few years now... usually at least 2 CPD points each... I realise they are of no real use yet, but being able to evidence attendence etc was useful at my academic foundation programme interview...

I've been to a few things that gave out certificates, not as many as you obv :p:, most of the time though being 'the student' I don't get one.
