So he was from a crime ridden, inner city then hum?

how many prime ministers/leaders of the opposition have been? and what does it matter?

Lord Huntroyde
Well his parents were immigrnats and he hardly had a richj childhood. He went to a state school and managed to get into Cambridge. Don't generalise that all Tories went to public schools etc.

That was then this is now how many years has he been around the toffs.

Well lord hyntrode or whatever his name is seems to think that Michael Howard 'knows the real world better than most'

He probably does, and certainly more than most politicians, even Labour ones.

But the fact that he supports the Tory party indicates that he doesnt understand the needs of the working class. The Tories arent trying to attract the working class, and guess why ... cos their policies dont help them!! They want to reduced taxes for gods sake!

The Tories have never said they will specifically help only the working class, their policies are aimed at the majority, the middle class.
So....the tories new shadow cabinet is.....wait for it....just a slimmed down version of the old one!

not a single significant new face.

Anyone have any idea how this 'Council of elders' ie. Major, Hague, IDS would help Howard. The only thing I can think of is how to write a good resignation speech.

Seems to me like a very silly cabinet. Having one spokesman to deliver a load of policies for things like health and education etc... And employing that Morris Saatchi bloke as chairman. What a joke. Are these the last few days of the Tories before they plunge into history?

There's already splits. E.g. remeber when Letwin said there will be £billions tax cuts but then Howard and IDS said maybe.

Joke cabinet producing joke policies for a joke party.

Yes - we're going back to the 'glory days' of maggie aren't we? And that must be a good thing (thinks not!)

bearing in mind the differences in our probable CVs, its not that funny.

Best thing to do would be to contact the exam boards of which you took to the exams with and see if they can help
