I want to live in Poland for a year. Learning the language now (all my family are polish; i was never brought up to learn it. long story). I'd ideally like to work there. Couldn't spend a year doing nothing. What kind of jobs can you get for english speaking and (kinda) fluent (will be in a year or 2) 18 year old males?

any ideas about where to look/research? bear in mind this would be in the major cities (warszawa, krakow etc.)

Maybe do a TEFL course and start teaching over there, or even just turn up and find a work I'm sure they would love English speaking teachers!

Try to get a job in a hostel. Then you can learn Polish but also speak to the westerners as well. Its a really social environment, and I think you´ll get free accom in the hostel as well. Poland has tonnes of them, especially Krakow.
