Advice on dropping out of uni watch

Anon or delete please, sorry if it shouldnt be here but i want to stay anon!

Basically I've been trying for ages to settle into uni, but i've finally admitted to myself i'm miserable...i don't like it here and it just isn't for me.
The only problem is I'm not sure what else to do if i drop out...Iv looked at another course but dont think i have the right entry requirements, and if i was to transfer i would have to finish my first year and tbh i really don't think i can face it.
So has anyone who has dropped out before been in a similar situation? Any advice? How did you know what else to do?
Im happy that i've realised and don't feel so bad about leaving anymore, but on the other hand scared i'll regret it if i don't find anything else!
