    hi, im new on here,

just wondering when you apply a course at uni (i want to do economics), is that the same course no matter what uni you go to?

becoz a-levels are all the same across the country (providing they are the same examining board) & if i get rejected from oxford i want to do a course that is equally as good!

    thanks you xx

u dont have to do the same course ...

No, they will all differ in course content and focus depending on the specialities and interests of the academic staff at the department. There is no standard or set course like at A-level. There are possibly exceptions to this, where courses that are professionally accredited will be to a certain universal standard and have conistant, typical content across universities. However, even then there'll be differences from uni to uni (and this isn't relevant to economics courses anyway).

Also, Oxford and Cambridge don't necessarily have the best (or even particularly good) courses.

No, as far as i'm aware, courses will have different content. I mean some will be the same but there will probably be differences in what you will learn etc?
