1999. When US banks were soo deperate to break into Europe that they hired any old Tom, ****, and Jane.

Well done to him, anyhow.

A question: What are you doing browsing London Met? Warick too taxing?

wow, but "BNP Paribas (French investment bank)" does say quite a bit about London Met, as does having to say what BCG is.

MBA Harvard. Mucho impressive.

I don't think people even care anymore that she went to London Met.

obviously he/she was able to leverage the financial experience gained at those IB's to secure a place at Harvard.

yes b/c I'm sure you were the one giving him the interviews Jigzy (or indeed that you even have a clue of what his CV looks like)

i.e. he could have gone to met for any number of reasons, and to say he 'leveraged' his work experience to get a place at Harvard is naive as it could be down to many reasons (pure talent?), partiuclalry as people who apply to the MBA programme at Harvard have even 'better' work experience than this guy

Just an extremely intelligent and capable individual who chose not to go to a top five uni for whatever reason she had. I don't see the big deal tbh, surely you're still not of the belief you have to be from a top five uni to get somewhere in the financial world.
