Most of it's logic really so you'll already know or at least be able to work out the answers to most of the questions. Also remember that a lot of them are the same question workded differently. It depends how thoroughly you want to learn it. A lot of people will give it a quick read for a week or so, book their test and pass first time. I just wanted to know that I knew every question and worked my way through the book. Probably took me about a month or so and I read it about 3 times a week when I was at work :p:

45 QUID! for theory test
but anyways i got a cd i purchased from asda its quite good only a tenner
just keep running through and through the mock exam untill you get about 90% and maintain that most answers are common sense but there are some hard ones, it also has a mock hazard perception aswell very usefull

oh and btw book your theory early if u hadnt already because it takes about 2 weeks depending on where u live to actually take it, the mistake i made so i have to pay more for driving lessons to keep me perfect
good luck xx!

Who the **** revises for a theory test?
Unless you're completely retarded, you'll pass.

Yes, buy the CD (very good - Driving Success it is called I think) and don't underestimate the difficulty of the exam! Alot of people will laugh at me for that statement, but it is true.

You get asked quite a few bizarre questions which require pre-revised numbers or facts. For example, I was never expecting a question in regards to what you do when you find someone who is has a bleeding leg. I presumed it was safe just to leave the leg, but apparently you need to raise it! You also need to learn statistical information like how far away a warning triangle needs to be placed.

Most of the questions are common sense, but some need to be revised quite a bit.

about 80 percent of people revise maybe more, it gets you far in life <3
Reply 7
best way to revise for theory is practise doing questions
Reply 8
well i revised for 20 mins on the morning of my test and only just passed, so make sure you revise! I had friends who failed from not bothering and thinking it was going to be a breeze, which it is, but you still need to know stuff.
Reply 9
At £45 a time you want to make sure you pass. Its easy and straightforward provided you've done the work.

On the hazard perception click when you see the hazard and click again shortly afterwards. Sometime you can click too early.

they do produce some seriously stupid questions though, "what do you do at the scene of an accident and are laying unconcious" , Give them a cigarette, make them a cup of tea. Do they think we are retarded
Don't be an idiot and you'll pass the questions, spend 10 mins on one of the interactive hazard perception DVDs to get the knack, then you're done.

ive been revising for a solid month now

first from the books and slowly onto the cd rom etcc

my theory is this saturday, cannot wait till its over.. reivising for is getting tedious!

I'm sure it only costs £30, that's how much I paid for mine.

If you buy the CD (which has questions from the actual test!) and keep practicing it'll soon become habit to know the answer and you won't even need the book
Reply 14
its gone up to £45 well here in the midlands it has
Reply 15
Most of the questions are pretty straightforward (at least they were when i did it, and that was when we had 30 questions!)
I personally think those who fail theory should not be able to retake it for at least 6 months or something to that effect, or 3 fails and cant take test for x amount of years

so no one is going to wish me good luck?

i learnt it on the bus ride to the test center. about 20 minutes. oh god. the days of bus rides.
but yeah, skim through a bunch of questions the night before for a couple oh hours. that should be more than enough

revise for as long as you think neccesary.

Varies for everyone.
