What are the equations for Bromine, Iodine and Chlorine with water. Like seperate equations, im so stuck its a presentation for the Salters course. Please hlep!

Cl2 + H2O → HOCl + HCl
Br2 + H2O → HOBr + HBr
I2 + H2O → HIO + HI

well what sort of reactions are you talking about? and what sort of states for the halogens, for example liquid bromine or gaseous bromine?
