Its really close to central Headingley, where all the student bars etc are and probably about a 30 minute walk from the city centre, regular buses etc.

I lived at Clarance Dock, but I visited a friend at Dev, its very nice!!

Its not just for posh people, although it is one of the more expensive options so attracts the more wealthy students, don't let the stereotypes put you off

It looks lovely and seems to be in a great location, equidistant between the uni and the student area.

Only downside I can see would be lack of internet access. Damn :frown:

Is it nice and sociable? I mean, what's the atmosphere like... IS IT predominantly for posher people? You can tell us the truth, no need to be politically correct :biggrin:

ive heard its more traditional with formal dinners sometimes for catered, and some formal photos, kind of the oxford college feel.

hey! we're two girls coming to leeds in 2005! we wanna apply to devonshire halls too! does any1 who's there at them mo have anything 2 say about it? is it full of posh people? lovin it!!! is the food nice? how likely is it to get put there if we apply in the next week or so? I'm considering Devonshire hall,. and on my info it says there is internet you just have to pay a one off fee of £80 for it? is my info wrong then? Is anyone going to have a look around on 7th may accomodation open day? On paper it looks really nice and happening place, and not tooo expensive either :biggrin:
