East Anglia are offering grades for a subejct. However if I have one grade below in an A-Level subject will they still let me in the course. Or are they likely to be too strict.

UEA have been known to let people in with less than the grades on their conditional offer (even for medicine), however there's no guarantee that they will - it all depends on how many people did meet their offers and how many (if any) spaces are left on the course

I've been wondering this too. I'm going to put it as my firm, really want to go...but don't know how strict they will be....

I would say you're quite likely to get in if you're one grade below, although some courses are more competitive than others.

It depends on the school you are applying for, but UEA is usually generous. However, there are lots more applicants this year than usual, so the competition is greater.

Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed this. It's certainly true of the school of mathematics, I believe that last year saw a large increase in applications as well.

My Cousin finished a Business Management undergrad course 2 years ago, they offered him BBB and he actually got CCD, yet still got in!
