As the title says really. I haven't seen it in any other papers today. Is it just because of the Daily Mail's position as a biggoted piece of tat, or is it because the other papers haven't yet picked up on the story?

The article actually has some vague merits in that it exposes some of the heineous injustices in the closed family courts- children being taken away unfairly etc, howevever, the Times ran a series of articles on family courts and general rubbishness of social services a while back, the government has now cottoned onto that fact and moves are being made to open up the family courts, to allow the social workers to be held responsible for their actions and to generally make the system fairer. However, the Daily mail is a piece of crap, so that is why it only picks up on the 'gay' story. *rolls eyes*.

If you're not homophobic the only real story is one about childeren's services and would normally appear in the Society supplement of The Guardian.

    This.

While the rest of the media has come to accept gay culture, the Daily Mail still kicks up a fuss. It's like Grampa Simpson, complaining loudly and incoherently about everything it doesn't like or doesn't understand.

It was in the metro today as well....can't remember if there was a small mention on the front page, but the article was fairly prominent.
And to join in the predictable student line: I don't like the daily mail.

Because the Daily Mail is right wing homophobic drivel, targeting people who are shocked by such 'scandals.'
They don't know what's worth writing about.

I have nothing against gay people adopting, but it is sad that they are being taken away from their grandparents. Older people have become parents!
