Hey ppl I've got a question.
Last Year (Year 11) I completed almost all my coursework (including Geograhpy, Maths, English Lang, English Lit, I.T).
I was entered for the 2004 Winter exams, unfortunetly my Grandad died very near the GCSE Exams (2 days before they began) and as you can expect I was very upset since I was very to close to him (as well as my Dad also died the previous year). So I decided not to take my exams, my entry was cancelled.
I recieved some of my coursework back from my school including: English Lit, English Lang, Geography and I.T but I have NOT recieved the Maths Coursework back. (My school only goes up to Year 11 for students)
I decided that I wish to take the Summer 2005 GCSE exams (May/June), I think the school will let me take them there as a private candidate.
When I have contacted my school about my Math's Coursework they couldnt find it and it appears to have been lost.
My science coursework was never completed due to past illness before an operation I had.
Is Coursework nessessary for me to be entered into the Maths and Science GCSE (AQA) exam? I have heard from someone that it may be possible to take an extra exam to cover the coursework is this true?
Many Thanks
