It doesn't really specify. Just says that RAF Admin will be reduced by 2 posts over the next three years. I think it's probably a safe bet to assume these might be from natural wastage.
Well im happy with that
Had been expecting large cuts in admin with it supposedly going more centralised as well

You can fly your ass off at Linton on an SVA. Get a FJ passenger medical sorted before you go, or do one at Linton the Friday before/first Monday. Then as soon as you're on a squadron, ask about who's doing the weather ship for the next week and fill its back seat!

No, but you can see everything that's going to affect its movement; eg the track; so that makes a difference. You can't see lumpy air, nor predict which way the QFI'll throw it.........!
That's true - but I always found many a funny moment in a sortie came from doing this: during your aeros, tell your instructor you're about to do an aileron roll left, then snap roll right (adapted for the tutor, Wzz!), with the aim of banging your instructor's head off canopy on his side!! If your instructor's got a good sense of humour, it's ok! Never did it with my boss, I must admit!

Managed it once in a Tucano, albeit never in the Bulldog. Didn't try to trick him, just had the gall to roll right for a change. Slight "whump" noise over the intercom followed by a fairly sheepish "yeah, remember, tell me which way you're going when you're rolling.........."

Your boss would have loved it!

Yep, the mess was ok, but that was straight after work at 5. A couple of the boys put a barrel on for their promotions, but it died soon after. Just got back from the local (live out now). Is your UAS flying saturdays?

sometimes although I am up 5 days a week for some time to come and am living in. Want as much flying as possible before university gets underway again.
