hmmm prefer wearing shorts because i feel all exposed in speedos! but i prefer to look at guys wearing speedos... mmmmmm although boardies can be sexy on surfer guys, especially when they're fit!

If they're not fit then they can get the **** out of my pool/off my beach!

Well guys and girls', which do u prefer as guys swimwear??

Depends what you are doing. If you are doing it competitively you'd be wanting speedos (kinda in the name I spose) - less drag etc & less liable to fall down at high speed. Otherwise shorts is the way to go

I had to wear speedos when I used to swim competitively (and shave more of my body than I was comfortable with). I didn't much like being on display that much but hey.

I've always worn nice big baggy shorts whenever I've had a choice
From a person who sees a lot of old, fat guys wearing Speedos when I am swimming..I would deffo say shorts/surf shorts! Leaves A LITTLE to the imagination and covers up a bit...middle-aged men at my gym seem to have a fetish for Speedos..and trust me THAT is not a good thing..

At least you don't have to see them in the changing room! :frown:

Are you saying scared_newbie is an old fat guy  . And Zurich I see you have been paying very close attention to the old guys in the changing rooms. Shame on you

Shorts are far better... less restrained and it means you can go round without worrying about everyone looking at the size of your package.

As I said it depends what you doing. Fast starts for a race in shorts is not a good idea. Ive come close to losing them so I stick to Speedos purely for racing/ proper swimming purposes. Besides, if your in the water no-one can see. Between then an appropriately placed towel does the job

shorts, but if your proffessional you need the speedos
I voted shorts cause they look better, but if you're going somewhere very sunny, speedos might be better (the larger type though, that look like tiny tight shorts), you don't half of your leg to be different from the other half (best friend's like that - only wears shorts and it looks funny)

De ja vu.
Shorts on men.
bikini briefs on women. (Or thong if NOT swimming in it, and on a beach and have the body/arse for it)
I prefer to wear shorts though.
