It really depends on the person. Freckles look good on some people but others look better without them. All in all it really doesn't matter to me.

on girls, i think freckles across the nose look pretty and cute. however on men, not really.
to get rid of them, try the following i swear they work 100%
-fake tan over them the dark colour helps to hide them, dont go in sunlight without wearing SPF50+ cos sunlight makes more of them: its the body trying to rush and produce melenin to protect from the sun, as a result, pigment on the fair skin is unevenly distributed.so protect the skin
- exfoliate twice a week, and use lemon juice left on the skin 20 mins-1hr then wash off every 2 days, this dissolves the stuff binding the dead skin cells together, so helps the newer skin undernath to show, hence making older, frekeled skin fall off. (be careful in the sun lemon juice increases skin sensitivity to sun, will huuuurt if u dont use sunblock)
- try Palmer's Fade Cream. within a month you will have no freckles. also, Boots sell 'fade out' for this purpose, but i find it is greasy,doesnt work and makes you spotty

I hardly like them, but it wouldn't be too terrible if my girlfriend had them either. Indifferent, so I wont vote.

If someone doesn't like you because you have freckles, then, as clichéd as this may sound, you deserve someone better. If you are willing to get rid of freckles so that someone likes you, then you both deserve each other.
