For something like medicine I imagine it might be different. But for others I just want to see sort of what they do with their time/ how often they go out etc.

The same as every other university surely?
Ok, my Mondays:
7.30am get up in the glorious world of Acton
8am Get on the Piccadilly line to Kings X, where I change to the Northern Line
8.50am Arrive at UCLs PAMELA lab in Tufnell Park
9am-12pm Learn about disabled people falling over pavements
12pm-Get back on tube to UCL
12.30-Have lunch with coursemates either in sandwich place nearby or in the refectory and talk general rubbish until
2pm-Go to Public Transport lecture held in some random room in UCL, learn about buses.
4pm-Leave lecture and go to the pub with coursemates
6pm-Go home
Tada?

MSc in Transportation [Civil Engineering].
However, it's a completely pointless question to ask because everyone's answer depends on what kind of person they are and how they work.
i know that but i was hoping that by lots of UCl students posting their average days we would get to see how students at UCL go about their day and generally what to expect.

Chemistry first year.

Get up at 8:40 every day for 9am. Lectures for a few hours, maybe a few hours gap, during which I'll arse about or eat or work. Labs 2 afternoons a week (1-6, but not in there the whole time). Other random lectures.
www.yousai.co.uk/TERM2 0809 TIMETABLE.xls is my timetable if you really care (was less in the first term and depends on what options you choose).

Any questions, just ask.

History at SSEES:

Monday:

10am: Get up, food, wash etc
11am: Print all my reading for the week if they are available online.
12am:British library where I do all my weeks reading (in terms of books) and theres always space and no stupid idiots whispering away.
3pm: Lecture
4pm: Break
5-10pm: Reading at the science library where there is now space.
11.30-1pm: Continue making notes

(I know Monday is crap day for me)

Tuesday:

10-1pm: lecture/classes
3pm-9pm: finish off weekly reading in SSEES or British library

Thats it, apart from a few classes and lectures remaining. I usually do a quarter of a weeks reading during the weekend before. Usually now, I work on my assessed essays during my free time.

Jeeeesus, 6 hours straight reading on a tuesday!!
You only have to be in for two days though?? What do you do with all your spare time, you surely can't have that much work??
Oh wait - and you sit up till 1am on a monday to finish notes? Woah, you work hard! I'm amazed and impressed all at the same time. Are you aiming for a first?

Oh and do you actually have the money or time to go out or are we going to have to spend all our time working and being really poor? :frown:

I have lectures/class everyday.

Gaming, appreciating life in the capital i.e. food and shows, socializing and the pub. Yeah, I am aiming for a first but it seems a hint too hard at the moment because I'm stuck in the middle 2:1 region. Its really just being productive really, I don't have sports or football to watch on these days so why not use up the spare time. But the key thing is that I actually have notes and am learning on the process and not simply cramming new stuff towards the exams. I probably do an additional few hours after Tuesday; I spend an hour reading through my notes before a tutorial.

Plus, essays require loads of additional reading as well. So I am usually quite occupied during the rest of the week. I go and get hammered on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays only.
