I don't know what i want from life

I'm just confused as i don't know what i want from life. I'm a good student and will be going to university, but the thing is that after university and once i've got a job i don't know what i want. I don't really have any interests outside of school, i just seem to play games and do school work.

I have been out drinking to partys and stuff but this really doesn't interest me. While i don't have anything against alcohol i just find it to be a pointless endavour.

I also probably not the most social person and feel that when i go to university im just going to be stuck on my own as most people are going to be going out partying. Even if people do try to talk to me, i feel awkward in new situations and will decline offers to go out, and i'll be stuck in the situation of just doing uni work constantly for 3 years.

Right now im off school due to the snow day and have done nothing but be bored watching TV. I just feel i need a hobby or something to do so that im not bored all the time and also something where i can use my time productively and have a goal or something to reach for.

Sorry if it seems really stupid, but i just really lost at the moment.

Any help would be appreciated

Firstly, you don't need to drink at uni to make firends - you can go out and not drink.
There are many clubs/societies at uni that you can join if you want a new hobby.
Unitil then, why don't you go down to your local sports centre and join up to something new there? You could do something like a martial art, where they have goals to work towards, or just go and play tennis, or any other sport!
If sport isn't your thing, then what kind of thing do you like? Make a list of things that interest you and try to start doing one of them.

I think you need to go travelling somewhere wild and crazy.

Umm... you could join cadets or something like that, it got me out of the house and D of E [although I quit after 2 years because I realised it was all a load of crap and I didn't like being shouted at by people barely older than me].

Maybe voluntary work?
Or learn an instrument? I'm trying to take up guitar and violin again now I'm not spending my Tuesday and Friday evenings polishing shoes.
