film script ideas

for my film coursework i have to come up with a film script, synopsis etc. then i have to do the script for a scene in the film. but im having trouble coming up with any ideas for films tht i like. can anyone help me by giving me any sort of idea. anything is welcome.

nah, i just need inital ideas that i could work from. i dont want like full storys or anything, just some suggestions that could hopefully get my own mind working and thinkin of ideas.

Start with something simple e.g. a person being bullied..then mind map ideas and work them into the plot.

Everyone has their own story to tell, so you could possibly do it about something which happened to you, a friend or even something you wanted to happen.

You should write a story about a guy who is born under unusual circumstances. Like, he's born really old, but instead of aging he gets younger everyday. How about that?

Or... an unnamed guy who becomes so disillusioned and dissatisfied with his life that he creates an underground boxing society in order to vent his anger... maybe you could throw in a twist like he's schizophrenic or has an imaginary friend.

Hmmm these ideas sound a little far-fetched... I don't know if anyone would buy it... but I'm sure with some great writing you could pull them off? My friend David is great with cameras and stuff if you decide to take it further, I could get you in touch?

What about this;

A young guy, maybe 16 or 17, goes hunting with his older brother whom he idolises.

While they are on the trip the younger brother (let's call him Callum) decides to get up really early, like just around pre-dawn, to try to impress his brother by bringing back something to eat for breakfast, even though Nathan, his older brother warned him that they should never seperate, as this is a pretty dangerous part of the country and very wild (i'm thinking Canada for location, but it could easily be Australia, North or South America or even Europe, they could have travelled a bit to get where they are).

Cal is hunting, spots some big game, is lining up for the shot, visibly nervous (this is his first hunting trip) when a noise from behind him startles him and with thinking he turns and shoots, killing the stranger who had appeared from no where, a bearded man who falls to his knees, utters some words in a foreign language and dies in Cal's arms.

I could think of a hundred places to go with that, but it's a start.
