Bournemouth vs Southampton

I come from Bournemouth and go to Southampton uni :smile:

. Both unis have there good and bad point's but there pritty differnt extremes

Southampton has a better reputation overall. I don't really know much about Bournemouth, but Southampton has a really nice campus and is a nice area in general.

southampton is better academically and not a bad place for nights out, shopping and etc... but bournemouth is even better in terms of social. however, if you are taking academic subjects then bournemouth lags miles behind... although there are probably exceptions of arts subjects.
i live in southampton, but i go to bournemouth all the time, especially in the summer for the beach. and i have friends who travel the distance of bournemouth to southampton for college everyday, so you can make the best out of both worlds.
