Well it all comes down to your location preference and where do you intent to work upon you graduation.

- In terms of reputation:
I have a friend whom got rejected by LSE and received an offer from Warwick and Melbourne for the same course went to U of Melbourne, cause he thinks in that U of Melbourne has a better reputation than Warwick. I would probably have done the same things as well given the situation.

-In terms of the course structure:
Warwick's A&F course structure is quite rigid (Like any other UK degrees), all you could do is just A&F or related modules. Unlike U of Melbourne, it allows its students to choose a wide range of modules, it even allows you to take engineering modules if you would like to pursue a career as engineer.

as roughly_ruff said, at melbourne you'll be able to take subjects/modules in other parts of commerce besides accounting & finance... and you will also be allowed to change to another commerce major if you find your preferences have changed after starting the course.

melbourne's reputation is good in australia and asia. however, have you considered applying to university of sydney? sydney is the financial centre for australia, although a degree from melbourne will still be well-regarded.

btw, i'm currently a uni of melbourne student but studying engineering. let me know if you have any general questions about the uni.

Rumor has it that UNSW and U of Melb have better reputations in the field of commerce. As for U of Sydney, its more reputable in the legal field.

(P/S: I might be wrong)

of course warwick...... australia is dead easy to get in, i think even easier than canada.... i am putting canada (UT and UBC) as my safe. i really dont see why you are interested in going Aus when you are offered by warwick. At least in where i live (Singapore and HK), Aus has a really low reputation. im sure its true for the courses i applied to.

i dont mean to offend aussie schools, but thats the culture and influence i get. im not sure how people think in china, where everyone seems to think that only US is the way to go, every where else is rubbish (besides oxbridge of course).

Edit: really dont mean to offend. excuse me for my ignorance.

really. im actually quite infuenced by some of the rankings of universities and they always seem to put melbourne above Warwick.

I actaully quite want to go to Warwick but some people are saying that internationals find it quite hard to find work after they graduate?

Ranking tables doont tell a thing. LSE is below a lot of aussie schools and canada schools, which are really not very prestigious. ive got offers from UBC and UT ( canada schs, as my safe) and some 5000 canadian bucks scholarship which is automatic if you grade is above certain standard. i didnt even bother to submit any supporting documents or so.

Well, yes its true, hard to find a job in UK, with relative to graduates from LSE and oxbridge. but i dont think it will be easier to find a job in UK if you grad from a Aus school, but vince versa, its gonna reverse the situation.
