Do You Wear Glasses?

hehe, ok then!
since i've questioned whether frequent use of a computer damages your eyesight, i've decided a poll is in order to determine what proportion of TSR users have poor eyesight, wear glasses or contacts etc.
it's probably going to be completely irrelevant to use of a computer, but hey

Well, you don't wear them both at the same time!

I got my contact lenses on Saturday, and so far I hate them.

so far most people on the poll wear glasses
but then again, everyone is a student and that involves loads of close work, and reading heaps (esp in poor light), which probably has a massive impact

i cant see properly without them. also, their inconvenience. id have laser if only if it were cheaper. contacts too much of a hassle, i have small eyes apparantly.
no!!!!

personally i find glasses on men a huge turn on. i prefer any guy wearing glasses than not wearing them  :joyman:

oh, ok! isn't it predicted that there will be problems in the future, post laser treatment?!

They decided I needed glasses about 6 years ago when the optician realised I was just memorising the letters  but I've never worn them  I just hated the way they look, and decided I don't really need them anyway.

I can see things a long way away perfectly, I just can't read the detail on them. Ok, that didn't make sense... road signs for example, I can see them and make out the image, so I know which sign it is, but I can't read any text that might be on it.

hmmm me 2, might be a future consideration if my theory about computing and eyesight is right :p:
I read a lot and go on the computer a lot, so that's probably why my long distance eye sight is not too great.
I am going to the optometrist this wednesday for an eye test, so ill probably get glasses.
