How to make a revision timetable (GCSEs)?

Yes, but there only a few to download on the AQA site, and we may get them as practices in tests.

True. Most subjects have past papers though. Some will come up before June anyway. I think buying them will be the best way though.

Bought any papers yet? :p:

No, I am going to work out what papers I need. I went on the AQA site and they only have some from last year and the year before; one is on the AQA site to download and the other one might be given to me at school. I need to buy a lot of papers really...

Yeah, the AQA site doesn't have the 2004 papers, but they will come out soon. It's better to buy them than waiting actually, because the exams are actually out soon.

I guess you have to order loads of papers. Tell me in the how much they all cost altogether. :p:

If the teacher is going to give you past papers from past years, there's really no point buying them though.

If you see this site and scroll down, you will see a table of exams published on the website. http://www.aqa.org.uk/admin/qp-ms_library.html

I haven't ordered any yet, although I may do. I'll see what Dad says. I bought some CPG practice papers (I know they're not specific) just to help me, and went through the downloadable ones. It is just Maths is my weakest subject so I need all the papers I can get!!!

Just a reminder that when I saw the catelogue of past papers, they only have the previous 2 years, and not the previous 3 or more years. If you want the papers from 2003 and before, you need to get them from your teacher. An alternative is to contact the exam board that you want the past papers before 2003.

If you order all the past years past papers for each subject, it will be expensive. I would suggest by the ones from the other exam boards except for AQA.

Oh right. Well, I will ask my teachers, but just got onto my Easter holidays so won't see them for 2 weeks!

Ok. To be honest, if they are going to give copiesof past papers from previous years, you might not need to buy any. :p:

Yes, I might text my friend as she got some past papers, I'll ask her which years they are.

Ok. That saves money buying past papers then. :p: I guess the websites I told you about ordering past papers are now useless, lol.

I can't believe I am actually taking them in June, every year I have watched it on the news when they talk about the GCSEs, but now it is my turn and I feel like I am going to fail.

I felt like that too, I couldn't believe it was actually me sitting them this time around. I felt so old! And it really annoyed me when all the A-level people got their results a week earlier, but that will be me this year :p:

Well, I am going to be so scared on results day, I will be pacing up and down the room, before I go, I can imagine!

I didn't even take my GCSE's properly because I was ill yet I was still a nervous wreck on results day!! This year will be my first year of going to school to get results for exams I actually took (as last year I was away and got them sent to my phone by text which was actually so horrible!! and I'm not counting Jan modules either) Anyway lots of past papers is the best method after you have made all your revision notes. I did that for my Jan exam and it worked well it just took weeks as I did the notes making/learning then every paper I could get hold of..problem is though I did that for drama and need to resit again and have run out of papers..NOOOO!!

Sorry to hear you were ill :frown: A text message must have been horrible, you wouldn't want to open it! Anyway, I hope you got good results. Ok, I am going to grab as many past papers as humanly possible!!!

I've just started going through past papers (Arghh! The Stress, and it's only Easter) I don't have a revision time table, writing it usually distracts me from doing any actual revision.

I want some past papers, I have downloaded as many as I can but for things like Music Listening, where you need a CD and the paper, I can only get them from school. The problem is that we haven't done one since the mock! (in November)

You could order those kinds of past papers. See the links that I posted earlier.
