Not very interested in the plants, I must say, but from an Engineering point of view I did like it a lot.

The structure (that bit I'm interested in) is one of the most impressive I've ever seen, however I do agree, theres not much to do there. You can film Bond films in there though so i suppose it is a multi-purpose venue.

Soo boring. Too much queuing - in the car, for the tickets, outside the biomes, inside the biomes. Once we got in the biomes you couldn't look around at your own pace because there were people in front of you and behind you - everyone just filed around at a break-neck pace. Crap. Don't go.

We got taken there by our department in freshers' week for free

My dad went and came back describing all the plants that he had seen. If you like plants then maybe it would be a god place but to me it sounded really boring...even with him explaining where all the plants come from and how long it has been since he had seen them.

I agree... we went at Easter two years ago and whilst the architecture was really impressive, the 'follow the person in front' approach really irritated me. I would have far preferred to wander around taking my own route through.
It has brought an amazing amount of multiplier effect extra income to Cornwall, though - other attractions and hotels, B&B etc have all really benefited from it... and since Cornwall is a very poor county generally, thishas been very helpful economically.

I'd rather go to the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Anyway, I went because a friend of mine found out it was cheaper for her fmaily to go as a family but needed an extra person, so I went. We had a nice day, but we were all a bit disappointed with the Eden Project itself.

We had 12 of us in a big farmhouse last year - it was such a good holiday.

I wouldn't say it was bad but i wouldnt go there again. It was a good experience and i bet you were glad you went even though you didn't really enjoy the experience?

I thought it was really good. I went yesterday (Sat) and it wasn't crowded at all. And I thought £6 was very reasonable.

Good fun although there wasn't that much there. Looking forward to the new biome

Actually, you've probably hit the right time of the year to go! Anytime from Easter through to October half term seems to be too crowded. Is the new biome going to be deserts?
