You need to apply for Foundry now if you want a room. Its going fast.
I've heard mixed views on Brunel.

Does Brunel come with internet access? And inclusive bills?

Personally, I wouldn't choose to live in Brunel - particularly considering the other choices. Foundry and Trinity are amazing; Brunel is a little like a prison cell.

a lot of friends are in foundry and its really good, most likely im living there or in a big double room in IQ Kopa next year, avoid trinity like the plague, its one of the most boring and dull places ever, NOTHING happens there at all, it feels like a retirement home not student accomodation.

Moor lane is next door to were i live, apparently its meant to be a good little place to live, Brunel ive heard mixed things about, it doesnt look very big to be honest as well.
Trinity was brilliant last year. I think the first years have killed it.

Moor Lane is awful. The swipe card system is a pain in the arse, and the rooms are a lot smaller than Foundry and Trinity.

My mate is currently in Burnel and he is moving to Trinity/Liberty Student Village next year becuase he dosnt like it. Remember in Burnel you have to provide your own internet so it will work out just as dear.
I Think:
Brunel is terrible; the room layout it bad, the fire escape stairs allows people to get into your flat, the whole place looks awful. And it’s very noisy.

More Lane Entry System sucks and the rooms are really weird and inconsistent shapes.

Warehouse entry system also sucks, you got to go let your friend out, (bad for one night stands, as they can’t leave until you let them out) its expensive and they try to rip you off with checkout charges.

Leighton Halls is very noisy, as the walls are PAPER thin.

I haven’t got much experience of the new KOPA halls,

:top: But I love Foundry, it’s the closest to all my uni buildings, only down side is that the security can be bad at keeping people quiet when they return from a night out, but everything else gets 10/10 from me.
Brunel is a craphouse! I'm sorry, but I remember visiting friends there are thinking thank god I live at Leighton, which isn't even all that. And yes, the walls are paper thin at Leighton (trust me!)
The whole place is really dim and dirty, I remember the ground corridor always had some smell or other lingering in the air that just wouldn't go away. The main problem probably is just that it looks really, really old, I think it must be. The carpets have obviously been there forever, the walls, everything.

I quite like Brunel from when Ive been in - its cheep and cheerful and pretty popular because of the rent I think. I like that it doesnt pretend to be something it isn't and you get what they say you will.

But Im easily pleased!

Is it good? ATM it's either that or Leighton for me.

Socially, security wise, noise levels; that kinda thing. What's the sitch? Most important - how much to do your laundry?

just a few mates who lived there last year, said they try charge you when you move out for things like scratches on the wall, microwaves etc, etc. cant remember all the detals now, as it was over ayear ago, but remember they were having some disbutes with them,
Most halls do charge you if you leave dirty or damage, but you got to make sure you list all the damage when you move in, as they might try to charge you when you move out even if it wasnt your damage

I've moved out of my room in Brunel due to suspending my studies for a year. The rooms are nice and a decent size. If anyone needs a room now let me know asap

What do you mean provide your own internet?
Can you get any internet provider with your own router and just let your flat use it or is it a set one they make you pay for on top of the rent?
