Ahem, Churchill is a Stoke Bishop catered hall:smile:

true, but I'm not the only one not to get it wrong. :hmmm:

Anyways, is price is an issue, the only relevant Catered places would probably be HB or Baddock.
Reply 463
Agreed....I just discounted Churchill because of cost and I feel that HB has a better social life than Badock (well from what I've heard anyway...)

And what kind of food does catered accomodation include?
Is it good and enough in case of quantity? How many meals are included? Does the catered hall have also some kitchen facilites to prepare something?

Another question. What kinds of sport facilities are available in Bristol? What is the price (I'm interested for example in swimming pool)?

And what about riding to the university by bike? Is it safe (it means if thefts are common)?

I was joking, I knew what you meant. :p:

And no, I'm no Pole. I picked up a little Polish when I went to Germany in November; a lovely Polish lady was working in the school I helped out at.
I learnt hello, bye, see you soon, pear, apple, shirt, big bowl, little bowl, my name is..., I am from... and I think that's it.

why 'little' and 'big' bowl? lol

Maybe because it allowed her to demonstrate Polish nominal inflection (or something). Or maybe because that's what there was to hand.

Are you saying Wills isnt social? :s-smilie:
Reply 474
no, where on earth did you get that from?

Wills is probably dearer than HB and Baddock, though to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they wasn't very much in it.
I pay less than Hiatt Baker because I don't have a sink in my room.
IS it true that at manor hall you have a share a kitchen with up to 15 people?

Thats madness isnt it??

mate, that's nothing.
One of the halls in warwick [that they showed us around] had a tiny kitchen [smaller than the ones in the SC flats, i reckon] between something ridiculous like.. 28 people.
It was crazy.
[although i think it was the cheapest hall - the others were fine. just weird that they showed us around that one..]

My friend's in that hall. They have fights everyday there.
Can anybody tell me anything about sinclair house???

Is it true that only second and third year students go there though??

(god bristol accommodation is troublesome)
