Are Lacoste and RL Polo clothes chavy?

I've been told by my friends that too many chavs wear lacoste/polo shirts. But I personally love them, and still will continue wearing them. But is this true (thread title)?

only if you've got plastic stud earrings and childish spiked hair. but from what I've seen, the three generally go together.

Nah its more of a preppy style I would say, definately Ralph Lauren anyway! I'm after a Ralph Lauren polo and I'm certainly not a chav.

I would say Lacoste polo shirts are quite chavy, but then again, it depends who's wearing them. I wouldn't say RL was though...

RL is chavvy, i've often told i dress chavvy and i own a few RL polo shirts. polo shirt + jeans + bright white trainers + spiked hair = perfect!

RL is most definitely not chavvy. I own a few of the shirts and while i get the odd remark (I tell them where to go) I know for a fact it is not. Lacoste on the other hand is somewhat chavvy.
