Both of you are talking as if i was a rah trying to defend me and all my friends. i am not. i am just like the rest of you. so stop with all this up my own arse, flatter myself nonsense. This has nothing to do with me personally. None of you know these people but you speak with so much confidence as if you did.

I am off to bed now. I dont see this argument ending. Im not gonna lie, i do think a lot of you are jealous of these people. And after a while it gets a tad irritating hearing these 'sloane' topics on the forums which all follow the same route. Maybe someone should start a pikey topic - 'ooo no, is it true that X has lots of pikeys?!? coz i wouldn't want to go to a uni if that was the case.' its pathetic.

I don't envy them one bit actually, i have some pride in my behaviour, and moral beliefs, and friends who i value, and passions in life, and plenty of educational oppurtunity...whats to envy?

I go to a private school where there are a fair few toffs, as with most of the social events i go to. Many of which i have grown up with as a child and i know what they are like. No, they are not really my friends but i have a right to defend them against most of you people who have never even had a conversation with one before.

I have never made out that these were innocent god-like figures because that would be unrealistic. Yes, they do have their annoying points and I would be silly if I tried to argue that. However that does not mean…

1) You can make comments about how intelligent they are or how their mind works because if you are making such harsh comments chances are none of them are your friends so you don’t really know them anyway.
2) You can make negative comments regarding how they look, as this is obviously only going to point to jealousy. And how does their ‘superficial’ exterior effect you exactly?!? Have you had a pashy poke you in the eye or something??
3) Go on and on and on and on and on about how annoying they are. Have you actually seen how many forums are full of these topics these days??? Its ridiculous and its petty.

Continue to deny that this is out of jealousy if you so wish (although I can’t see any other reason why you would be so bitter considering that they ignore you most of the time) but it doesn’t really matter because I am sure, after comments such as these, that they hate you just as much... actually probably a lot more.

As for the jealousy comments thats a need to flatter themselves..i mean..i cannot believe you dont ask the question :..Does a normal person have such hatred, self-regard, and downright strangeness that they go around saying people are jealous of them,others are insignificant,etc? You keep on referring to this as about all the upper classes, and i have said a million times its not....would i call Jeremy Paxman a "rah" or Kate Adie? NO, it defines to me a particular charcter type amongst the moneyed, which is probably a minority
