where to buy good quality jeans?

I always just shop on the highstreet in the really obvious places (topshop/river island/H&M) but I'm getting a bit fed up with the quality. Sometimes I'll find something that's decent, but most of the time it's just a load of rubbish.

I don't mind paying more (within reason) for quality, as it really is worth it imo, but I don't know where to look?

Acne jeans are the best. Contemporary and classy. You'll pay though.

Well, depending on where you live (and if you live in London, that's excellent!), I'd say go to "Dolce and Gabbana" or "D&G" store. Please note, these two are different entities, because there is a "Dolce and Gabbana" as well as "D&G" store in London.
I had exactly the same problem as you did. I was fed up with topshop, gap, river island, zara, h&m, esprit and all others. I just could never find the jeans I want.
Then I went 4 months ago to either "Dolce and Gabbana" or "D&G" store in London (and I swear I can't remember which one, but I'm 90% sure it was the "D&G" store on New Bond Street) and only there I found the jeans I want!. It didn't cost a fortune, so you know - I paid only £150 or £170, can't remember which, but now it's my most favourite jeans. I wear it aaaaallll the time. Isn't that what jeans is all about? You're supposed to love it and feel really comfy in it, isn't it?
Anyway, they even adjusted the jeans to the exact length I wanted at no extra charge. I think I spent about 25 mins in the store, and I took 7 different designs with me to the fitting room. And the store assistant was extremely attentive and offered me his advice which jeans fits me best.
Oh...one thing only....since their jeans come with "D&G" leather-tag attached, I asked them to remove it, as I find such things absolutly tacky. Even ifyou wear "D&G", you shouldn't let the whole world know 'hey, look at me - I'm wearing "D&G" '. For as long as your aim is to find the jeans you love (as opposed finding the jeans in order to let the others know what brand you're wearing), there is absolutely no excuse in displaying the brand to others.

The other store I could suggest you is "Diesel". I once found very good jeans in there, as they specialise in jeans too. But when I went there the last time, I couldn't find anything, and became disappointed. Thankfully, I discovered "D&G".:woo:

If your after quality and don't care if people recognise the brand then without a doubt this is the place to buy from. Another option is here get a pair of kicking mule workshop 1980's with the 30% discount code.
I buy mine from either New Look or Primark - they're not exactly designer but they last for a good amount of time and are comfortable enough.
Diesel.
Selfridges, or harvey nick's. Alexander mcqueen.
Fat Face or Gap

america. they're twice the quality and half the price
I've had a pair of FCUK jeans that have lasted me about 3 or 4 years I reckon.
My newest jeans are Superdry ones and they're awesome, good fit and they aren't showing much wear and tear yet.
I would never buy a pair of Warehouse jeans again though, they weren't good quality at all, I used to wear them most days and after several months they started to wear away at the crotch!

I've just recently bought some online from Diesel and they're really good but also very expensive.
I also think G-star is pretty good, in terms of quality.

A lot of people won't agree with me but I think that Levi's is poor quality, maybe because I washed it too often when I used to wear them, but I don't know.

Lee cooper or levis, get them in a sale and get a "classic" type of style. They last for ages.

Alot of shops in westfield have decent jean shops actually, depending on how much you're willing to pay?
Cheaper jeans are often more robust.
Working jeans, like Levis, Wrangler etc., are a better choice if you value quality over 'look'.
