Need male opinions

that's the thing i just can't believe there are enough waiting for marriage guys. one of my female friends (strict baptist) even said that the guys pretend they've never had sex yet go and sleep around at uni while away from their parents! has been such a day of revelations i tell you...the good guys are always taken and im not one for stealing other ppl's bfs but i'm a very outgoing person so get attracted to the outgoing guys who are always the bad boys apparently im a lil intimidating cuz i talk so much to the nicer boys!!! oh dear there's not much hope!!

no what im saying is, say you meet a really nice guy and he knows u r waiting for marriage. he wont go out with you. if he does, you go out together for say 6 months. then he'll see he isnt getting sex, then he'll move on.

hence we willalways be single

ok so we were having a debate and i was the only female there at the time so quite curious as to what the rest of you guys think... we were talking about virginity and there were several schools of thought. 1) wait until you're married (he's christian) 2) what is the point to it you (ie girls) can DIY or jus have a few drinks get with a guy..... 3) it's best if you wait til you're in love but as long as you do it when you want to and 4) not really fussed....so what's the deal here? what do you guys think of 18yr old virgins who are waiting for love etc? Would you choose a virgin or prefer a girl with experience? or is there such a thing as too much experience???
sorry it's a long one but i was so suprised at some of their comments about their ex's and the complete double standards!

im of the same opinion although at my age (19) alot of fit guys get put off by that. do you think you'll ever meet a guy who will have a relationship with you to the point they wana marry you with out having sex?

i wasn't going to change i just find it irritating. you don't sound like an old man just more sensible than most. i spose tho if you're waiting for marriage and it's a religious thing i guess you'd find similar minded people but if it's not religious then i would have no idea. one of them put it earlier that they dont want to know about a girl's exs and just like to assume that they've magically found this knowledge and experience so it seems they want a virgin in theory yet not. such funny creatures!

i hate that. im not waiting til i get married jsut til i find the right person but there was this guy who found out that i hadn't slept with anyone and was constantly asking me to sleep with him in the end i just told him that id slept with a friend and then he quickly dissappeared! going back to number 3 sam he has walked away on several virgins but at least he didnt sleep with them and then dump them.... i know having more than one lover doesn't make you better just to clarify or some people i know would be experts!

There's another myth to dispell: it's not multiplying sex partners, by having sex early that you become good in bed. It doesn't work that way. Actually, what happens is usually the opposite. I've known older girls with loads of experience and they were pretty boring in bed to be honest.

If a guy decided not to date me simply cus I'm a virgin then tbh I don't really wanna be with such a man. If he's not gonna love me for me but want me for sex then tbh he can go sod off really. I will/defo want to, at least, wait til after marriage before I have sex - one thing that's reserved only for my husband.

i really doubt that will happen as i can name at least 5 boys that want to wait til they get married, and 4 of those are at uni so i'm sure you'll find someone. but what would be the point of waiting so long then just throwing it away you might at least be with someone for 6 months who you care about they care about you then you're not wasting it.
as for the teaching theory of guys i say bull****most of the guys i have met can't get the basics right so i feel sorry for those other girls theyve slept with. but i also think that we're all individual so a certain amount of guidance shall we say is needed because no two girls react in the same way and im sure guys dont either.

I'd go with number 3. Quite the alter of you, my faith in girls has been completely destroyed since coming to college. I'd think it was admirable and rare if an 18yr old gal was waiting for love, as from what I've seen around my college, is girls that are not interested in love at all, who care about nothing other than sex. Its actually rather distressing as I prefer a longlasting rewarding relationship. I wouldn't mind at all if someone wanted to wait before taking that plunge, infact I'd prefer it, suppose it means they have higher moral values (and adds to the tension ). I definitly agree someone with <too much> experiance being a turn-off.
