Help digest food

Here's a thread that's nothing to do with sexual health

I was told by my doctor that eating a lot of fresh fruit, as well as drinking plenty of water and consuming enough fibre, will help my food digest. Fresh fruit is okay but when I'm on the move and in the summer, I prefer juice drinks. Does it matter that I have juice drinks instead? Is there any difference concerning health whether I have freshly squeezed juice or from concentrate? Anybody can tell from experience?

Many thanks.

Apparently, As much pure fruit juice as you may have, it only counts as one serving of fruit/vegetable. But I think that applies to stuff out of cartons. I mean, you can have pure fruit smooties but throwing a load of fruit together at home and that should count towards fruit/vege servings.

Even 100% pure tesco finest freshly squeezed orange juice isn't half as good as actually eating an orange.

What do you mean? Fruit contains lotsa good vitamins...

It supposed to be much more healthier to actually eat an orange rather than have cartoned juice. Plus, if you're worried about calories, there's less in one orange than in one 200ml glass of orange juice - as there's probably a couple of oranges used for that. And they both only count as 1 serving.

I usually prefer satsumas because they're easier to peel. I just thought that it didn't matter how the fruit came in as, as long as it had the approximate nutrition. I just thought it might matter how I have them.
