Just wondering, has anyone recieved their Fresher's Pack yet? On the Christ's JCR it says they should arrive by post in early September, but I've had nothing since the welcome letter from my tutor.
According to a first year rep, they're expected to arrive in "about a week or so".

I had to wait a whole two days extra to get my acceptance letter. It was horrible.

At least you could be confident that it would be an acceptance letter.

You could have been confident. And you should have been confident. Your environment has obviously given you a pessimistic outlook.

Generally they're spacious rooms with facilities that need updating, but since third court covers quite a range of rent classes I can't really describe a typical room. There's a good chance that something will be said about your room in the rooms database. If not, try looking at rooms of the same class in the same building.
Just a quick question about the gown:Is there any reason why the price of a new Christ's gown can range from £30 at Ryder & Amies to £50 at the Porters? Do they differ in quality or design? thanks
What are kitchen facilities like? Are there ovens in any of the accommodation blocks?

This is a forum created for all those who chose Christs college Cambridge for their medical application for 2010. Any issue people want to discuss, here is the place to do it! It will be intresting to see the scope of people who have applied, so if anything we can size up the competition, or perhaps give each other advise? So whatever you need to discuss, DO IT HERE!!!

Hi, i'm actually being interviewed in Malaysia so our interviews are all within the next couple of days. Not sure why though. And I'm doing my AS exams now because... well we just do it like that here as we start our A levels in January.
