Just curious... what's the difference between the two maths interviews??

The difference is probably just that there is a different interviewer and they will ask the questions in a different way or about different topics to the other interviewer.
Just noticed that I used the word different/difference 4 times in the same sentence

I know the feeling. I'm really glad it's over now. My interview wasn't scary which was nice:smile: Altough the problem with having my interview so early is that I have to wait ages to find out the results:frown:

Mine was on Monday and it was ok, I think. I messed up an additional question in the experiment interview, but managed to answer it at last. The experiment itself wasn't difficult, but it also wasn't similar to the experiments we've to design on the exams. I quite enjoyed my second interview, even though I was asked one question after another, until I run out of any ideas how to answer them.
But, my general interview was a disaster. I was so terrified that I suddenly forgot how to speak English and forgot all the vocabulary I had learnt. I was asked a few subject questions during that interview and I knew the answer to most of them, but I couldn't really think about any way to actually say it. It was really silly - was trying to explain what I mean, just because I forgot how are stem cells called in English. Fortunately I managed to pull myself together after the general interview, so the subject interviews were ok.

And I was told that basic level Maths is enough, so I don't need to spent next 4 months trying to learn everything, that the maths and physics class learnt in the last three years. - that's great

I've applied to read CompSci at Christ's and I have an interview this Monday (4th). General with Dr Bowkett, and subject ones with Dr Fiore and somebody else.

I don't think there is anybody else doing CS at Christ's on here?

Nope haven't seen anyone else applying for it yet. Good luck.

Agh! I'm so nervous about my interview on Tuesday! I had a mock interview on Friday and the guy said I should do really well but to me that means I'm going to **** up my real interview because that's always what happens....

I need to calm down
