a question for those of you who stayed overnight, did you get a confirmation that you can stay overnight? or do you just go to the porters and ask whether they have by any chance a key for a room booked on the name of x ?
im not sure if u have to, but i did and got reply next day..be careful the room might have no heating, tht's the case when i stayed there last thursday in building Z
went all well with the room, the heating was even on - even though i was in building z i am so glad the interviews are over, was soo nervewrecking...when i was waiting in front of dr petersons office this afternoon and he opened the door i jumped and nearly fell out of the chair.

I'm the only historian! Anyway, isn't it a good sign that you're the only one? I'd be worried if there were 20 other potential historians on here; there's only 10 places!
There are 5 potential natscis, many more, that don't come to TSR and only 20(?) places, so it is good to be the only applicant for your subject and college on TSR
Yes it can, but it's always better than a rejection, isn't it? If I get an offer,I just hope it won't be 80% in Polish and 80% in German - can get it in the other subjects, but not in these two.
Being successful can be a mixed blessing with Christ's though - when you open the letter and find the offer has an AAAAAA + Dist condition attached to it.
Shhhh you. Besides i think most people will still be worrying about getting an offer in the first place.

Well it can only be AAA + Distinction for me...or an EE offer if they really like me Pshh! A high off will give me something to achieve and also mean i can put a AAA uni as my insurance...well if LSE give me an offer that is.
'Easy' offers are quite complicated nowadays too - they often seem to include a requirement to sit (though not pass) two AEAs, and/or stipulate EEE rather than EE. In neither case is it really a 'matriculation offer', since it goes beyond the University's basic matriculation requirements.
Well I have DE at A level already...i doubt i'll be getting an easy offer though as my application is substandard for a Cambridge applicant.
