I have a feeling my offer is the hardest 
Its so unfair i have to get an extra A compared to anyone else!
Its so unfair i have to get an extra A compared to anyone else!Originally my offer was an A in both History and Music, with A and B either way round in Politics and Eng Lang. however, when my sixth form pointed out that I don't take Eng Lang any more (dropped it at AS) Christ's have changed it to the A and B either way round in Politics and Gen Studies, which they originally said was not part of my offer. Its completely do-able (sp?), but never come across Gen Studies in an offer before. Has anyone else?

I hear that the 1st year accomodation (the Typewriter) will be in the process of refurbishment when we start in October (hold the joy) so we'll be taking up the 2nd year accomodation. Anyone else heard this?

p.s. I also heard that Christ's are only taking in just over 100 ppl this yr rather than 160 because of the refurb...so well done everyone n see you in October (or earlier)

does that mean we will not get guaranteed accomodation?
noo...we're guaranteed accomodation...jst not in the old block...it means the ppl who come the yr after will have brand spanking new accom
someone whos at the college from my old school told me...i asked the admin tutor at the interview too...he said we won't be affected...just thought i'd let ppl know for the sake of it loll

Ah, OK. From what I've seen of the second year accomodation, it's not too shabby so I'm not that bothered.
Surprising that they're taking a smaller year - if I was rejected I might feel upset, because effectively your chances of admission were smaller.
Still can't believe my offer though; over the moon.

wow amazing offer jerby, anyway if the accomodation is still there its fine, does anyone know the pricing of accomodation per annum? as in lowest and largest?
hopefully thanks! i found the site you were talking about, how many terms are there in a cambridge year? 2 or 3? since thye price by number of terms u have stayed
I'm still waiting for my letter... God its so nerve-wracking! Given the late date, I'm assuming I haven't been pooled so that means either acceptance or straight rejection.
you still havent found out?!?!?! i would have emailed them by this stage. What are you applying for? If i had to wait this long i would have died by now.
there's no point emailing them until Monday- I've called them and the admissions Sectretary said, she couldn't give any information over the phone and that they can only send the decision via email if I don't get the letter on Monday.
Looks like I'll find out about my rejection tomorrow at school- this isn't very comforting news for someone still waiting for the letter
