I think I will prepare myself for a rejection... Still, I really hope that by some kind of miracle I'll get accepted too. LOL ;P

Some more info:
Almost 800 applicants, just over 50 offers/recs from JBS to BOGS, aiming for a class between 25 and 30.

I applied with a GPA of 4,52/5. No GMAT/GRE. Business school in Norway. Maybe top 50 in Europe. Great LoR. I think i wrote a very good PS (allthough CAMSIS fragmented it up, and it I didnt think it was that exceptional). Currently working part-time at a clearing house.

I guess I will get a condition of getting an A GPA (4,5+), and I think I have less than 50% chance of making that.

Feel free to ask if there's anything..

Could you please tell us when you applied and your undergraduate major(s)?
I did not take the GMAT and have taken the GRE I have an 800Q score and will be applying for next year. Is this ok or should I take the GMAT?

Congrats Frisch! what was your undergrad major, and what do you mean by business school - are you doing a second degree?

I will be applying at the end of this year and will be taking all my finance classes in spring of 2010, so my initial transcript that will be sent to JBS will have very few finance classes. Is this going to be a problem? Would they accept a supplementary grade report of how I'm doing in my spring classes as well?

I'm completing a Bachelor in Buiness Administration this spring. No other degree. Nothing like a major/minor, but I'm taking a specialization in macroeconomics.

Have not taken GMAT/GRE. I hope this will not be part of my conditions.

No internships, but work part-time at a clearing house (clears futures and options mainly on freight routes)

Other schools applied for: Warwick Msc Finance and F&E (accepted), UCL Economics (accepted), LSE Political Economy (accepted), Cass Finance (accepted)

Hehe. That is actually the course I will attend if I can't meet Cam conditions. Having troubles in choosing between finance, economics and politics.

CAMSIS got updated today. Didn't think it would happen that fast. "Offer Set". Got a "non-standard academic condition. A bit scared that I will have to get a GPA of above 4.5, which will be almost impossible.
That was fast indeed! I got an offer for mphil economics in mid march and camsis has not updated yet!! Do not worry, you will make it!
Hey guys, did anyone hear back from Cambridge??? I am still looking at the Applicant status but I applied in early Feb so I am guessing there is a lot more to wait...By the way there was this guy who told me that the procedure worked like this- all applicants who are really worthy make it till the April and that's why the most of people who heard from them by the beginning of this month were rejected (except the outstanding ones who got offers immediately) so who knows????

Sadly I got rejected by LSE MSc Finance (well I heard that without gmat my chances would be poor), Warwick MSc Fin (got accepted), Cass MSc Finance ( accepted), Edinburgh MSc Fin&Inv (accepted)
If I don't get accepted by Cambridge, I'll go for Cass
