Some of the questions required for you to actually BE a calculator. For example the one with the man travelling around the word in 13.5 days. Did anyone else get 120km/h???

That sounds more realistic. What did it say his method of travel was anyway?

which would make 120km/hr too fast right? Or should I not be thinking along those lines because they probably put some random numbers in anyway?

    The distance was 12750 km.

    I just worked it out (with a calculator ) and it's 39.35 (2 d.p.).

Nope. That wasnt the distance, that was the diameter. The distance is pi*diameter which makes the answer about 3 times as large.

It does seem rather fast I guess.

Gold is around 12 correct answers??? Shut up! I fail to believe that...
When I did the Intermediate I got gold, and on the back of the certificate it said golds go to the top 5% in the country or something like that.

My mate cheated so much today, he got 97! I got 83, quite pleased with my performance. Then my other mate just smacked it, got 109!!! He is a whizz man, he comes from China and just puts us to shame! And over there he's probably average...

After our teacher collected our answer sheets he marked them in front of us. He had the answers already and just had to cross-check. I have the answers somewhere if I can find them...
