i havn't heard yet, but as i was another one of the four who wasn't pooled at Worcester , its looking hopeful
I had an interview at Exeter which was the college I applied for and then another at Wadham the following day - no explanantion given. What should I make of this?

It's difficult to make much of it, but your application is still being considered if you're sent for further interviews.

Of those who have had offers, were you only interviewed at your first choice college? and how did you feel the interviews went? I don't want to wait to hear rejection/acceptance...

I was only interviewed at my first choice college - they sent me home without going for the second round of interviews!

I really enjoyed the experience, I found the interviews challenging but friendly (and kinda exciting) at the same time (as opposed to Imperial where it was less tough but more intimidating :s-smilie:). Well, I came out feeling like I did the best I could, but obviously without having seen other peoples' interviews, it was really hard to judge.

Good luck!

I was only interviewed at my first choice, as was the other successful chem applicant I've spoken to. If you're only interviewed by your first choice college, I guess it means they've decided that you're either what they want or not good enough for Oxford. If you have further interviews, it's harder to tell how you've done.

An open offer? As in, unconditional? Or have you already done your A levels?

An open offer means you're not allocated a college until A-level results come out.
yeh it means im not allocated a college until after my results come out so i could end up anywhere

I think second interviews are to do with open applications to other colleges, so at Balliol for chemistry as mentioned, four were not called for second interview, whether because they made an open application or because the tutor had already decided to give you a place.
I am interested to know if any of the non-pooled applicants were rejected?
I got in  I had just 1 interview at Balliol and got my acceptance today, absolutely ecstatic
