Thanks for the advice. My Dad insisted on me getting Shriver and Atkins anyway 'so at least [ I ] have something'. It hasn't been completely useless; I've been using it to do some Inorganic tute notes which I finished earlier today, so at least I've completed one piece of work. I also finally got myself a Periodic Table poster.

If you end up doing any electronic spectroscopy of TMs this year (option or mainstream), it could come in useful. I never understood any of that stuff, though.
I was also in the group that got sent home early btw haha.
Well done everyone by the way
Haha wicked! Look forwards to seeing you next October then
We took pretty much the same as level subjects as well hehe (except you took further maths as well!). They must like the chem, maths, history and geog combo!

Join the club Can't stand them. Really just.....urgh. About to finally start working properly having had 2 weeks off.....eeeek. Yup...I'm in panic mode about life!
Pericyclics can be tricky, I'll give you both that. That said, if your examiners decide to be nice to you, it can be a gift of a question. I might get around to posting some handy pericyclic hints at some point.

Oh really! nice yeah, cos they did ask me why i was taking such a random combo, but i had a nice answer so yeah.... maybe its because we have a broader knowledge base woop!
