What? You've been prescribed some codeine-containing painkillers, why do you want more codeine? It really knocks you out in high doses.

It won't last long tbh, I'd just like the option once I run out, 7.46mg is a very small DHC dose. Just wondering if it's safe to use Paramol and extract the paracetamol, I know it is with Co-Dydramol.

It's not so bad. It's really quite mild at the kind of doses we're talking. 60mg will make you really happy though. As in, 'I'm just going to stare at the wall/ceiling/my mug of coffee and grin about life for three hours'. So the 8mg you get in co-codamol isn't doing much (though it does have a synergy with paracetamol).

As for the op, the safest way would be to find yourself some codeine linctus somewhere. 15mg of codeine phosphate per 5ml, at 200ml per bottle. That's 600mg of codeine for £2.48 (Care+ branded generic stuff). Then again, good luck finding some codeine linctus and a pharmacist who'll sell it to you (despite it being legal OTC).

- Hope that helps somewhat ,

PS: It's a class B drug... don't be swallowing it or walking around the streets with it or anything like that  (well, at least codeine is, not sure about DHC, but it's similar enough and estimated to be of equal strength, so it's probably a B as well).
They Do not make Codine Linctus anymore, the *******s. They have developed a replacement with no analgesic properties, as in no high. It's called Pholcodine and it's ****ing gay.

Codeine Linctus is still available at independent pharmacies but not at chains such as boots, manor pharm etc. You can also buy it on loads of online pharmacies but it will cost you more like £6-10 per bottle. CWE is a good method but can be risky if not done correctly. I'd say yeh go for the linctus or use an online pharmacy there are a few out there were you can fill out a questionnaire online and receive DHC through the post. This is a little bit pricey appx. £60 for 100x30mg DHC. Be careful with Opioids and only use them for pain as advised by your GP do not use for recreational purposes. Trust me lol..... It will F*** you up... I found out the hard way.
