the magazine for young people called phosphore is really good

i think they have a website

phosphore seems to be only about school life?
i think somethign covering a wide range of topics would be better

yep Phosphore is very good, lots of teenage type articles

also try and get Nouvelle Observateur; its kinda like The Economist, so if youre feeling like a challenge thats what you go for

also though, you could just try news sites

    Lemonde.fr, lefigaro.fr, liberation.fr (I cant think of any more).

I find that lefigaro is the easiest of them all.

Sometimes there was good stuff in Nouvel Observateur, most of the time it was just full of politics though. Phosphore is quite easy to understand.

Watching French tv is good for generally improving your understanding if you have access to it, TV5 is available on a lot of cable tv packages, I spent hours sat watching when I was doing mine.
