help, in microsoft excel, i want teh values to be to 2 decimal places, but if i type in 56.00, it automatically changes to 56 when i click off. is there any way that i can stop this? thanks

There should be 'increase decimal' and 'decrease decimal' buttons in the top right. If you can't find them, just search in the help section.

or select the appropriate cell, column or row and click - format - cell, then the number tab, from the list below select number and then there should be a decimal places box, change the amount there.
