How to get to Warwick Uni from Coventry station

Hey
I've just booked a train ticket for the 4th of March to Coventry as I have an interview at Warwick uni.
I was wondering how to get from Coventry station to Warwick university? If anyone could help me i would be so grateful!
On the website it says take the 12, 12A or U1 from Warwick road which takes you straight into campus... how long are these journeys? are these buses frequent? and i need to go to the maths/stats institute on campus.
I feel completly lost at the moment, I hope someone can help!

Hi, yes I was there last week. Come out of cov station, go to warwick road and get a 12 bus. I think they run every 15mins or so. journey took apprx 30mins. There are a few stops you can get off at on campus. A word of warning - the bus drivers were very grumpy and insist on you giving you the right change, I think it is about 2.90 for single, not sure though.

When you exit Coventry station, up ahead on your left is a bridge (there are steps leading to it if you follow the station round). This is Warwick Road, the bus stop leading to campus is on it. You'll want the #12 Travel Coventry bus, which will either say University of Warwick or Leamington Spa with via Uni of Warwick underneath. The U1 doesn't run through Coventry on weekdays, so disregard this. They should be around every 10 to 15 minutes, and take about 15 minutes to get to campus. You'll need exact change though, I don't remember the price of a return but it'll be 2 quid something so just have some 10 / 20ps ready. There are 3 stops on campus, you want the second, which is where the majority of students on the bus with you will get off. On your right is a 6 storey building running parallel to the road (Humanities), up ahead on your left you can see the sports centre and car park. To get to Maths & Stats, when you get off the bus walk back a bit, on your right is a small footbridge leading to some modern buildings, that's M&S. It's signposted anyway if you do get completely lost.

the number 12 is a travel coventry bus, its £2.90 for a day saver which means u can get on the bus all day

It's £1.50 single way, £2.90 return - climb up the steps and grab the 12 from just outside the station - it'll stop at the security post, then the sports centre - get off here and you'll see the footbridge and a fairly big water fountain in the middle of two buildings - lead it all the way around to the furthest building there on your left.

This bit is no longer accurate. Owing to building works on campus, the bus stop you want to get off at will be the second (and final) stop that the bus makes on campus. Everyone on the bus will get off here, so it's pretty hard to miss, and it will be the first point at which there are reasonably large buildings to both your left and right (Humanities / Library to left, Engineering / Chemistry to right). In order to get to maths, turn left getting off the bus and head straight forward, over the road and bridge to the end building on the left hand side.

I did think about adding this, but presumed the works would only last a week max.

My understanding was that the temporary bus stop was for the rest of the year.
No the temporary bus stop is only till april but it might be there until the end of the year pending on how the construction is going. You can take the #12 bus and go to Uni 1.5 for one way and 2.9 for day-saver. If you are arriving here after 6pm u can get a nightsaver for 2.2 which is same as a day saver but you can only buy that after 6pm.
