Which University?

Essex is ranked no.5 on times for hospitality,leisure sports
Leeds has no ranking there

On guardian Essex has ranking in Sport Science Subject no.4 and Leeds has no.6.

On times overall ranking essex is no.27 and leeds no.34

Same, however since I know there are loads of other factors (career prospects etc), I 'd have to go with Leeds...

Having said that, go where you will be happiest.

I would say come to Essex. Although I would say that as I go to Essex. You should definetely make sure you visit Essex and Leeds as they are two very different campus'. Essex is very contained, very community orientated, very friendly. Leeds is a lot larger in a huge city whereas Essex is on the outskirts of a medium sized town and is much more campus based. It can get a bit 'bubble' like at times.
Saying this, Essex has an excellent sports science department. In some league tables I believe it is ahead of Loughborough. Essex is a great University, but definetely come a long for a tour before you make up your mind!
