How do you pronounce Birmingham?

How do you say Birmingham

Hey guys
How do you pronounce Birmingham as everyone I know pronounces it differently! I'm sure people will pronounce it differently according to whereabouts in the country they were brought up but just wanted to make sure I wasn't saying it in a weird way (judging by the looks I get I always think I am saying it wrong)

I say Birmingeerm (and Im from southern Manchester btw)

One of my friends at school used to pronounce it 'Birminam' and it drove me absolutely f***ing crackers.
