Music/ practise rooms at Lancaster

Is it possible to go in practise rooms and have a tinkle about on the piano or such even if you don't do music?

I play instruments but obviously- i cant bring everything with me but i think i would die [well it'll be very strange since ive been playing since i was 7] if i couldn't play on something for 3 years

The practice rooms in the music department are open during the day and if nobody's in them then you can play. But music students can book them and take priority. After about half 6 in the evening you need a card to let you in the department so makes it a bit more difficult. You can book a non-departmental practice room through the music society or they can book you one in the department and let you in if it's after hours.
