What do you mean don't say eat more? That is the ONLY way to put on weight, by consuming more calories than you burn per day, so, in summary, eat more.

Have you tried working out/resistance training?

I had this problem and still do to a extent. However have put on a good few pounds. I suggest drinking milk before you go to bed, always good for putting on weight.
Try to fuel your body regularly, snacking in between meals. I eat allot of bananas, surprisingly they are quite fattening.
Eating lots of carbs and meat. Try to keep away from unhealthy fatty (I.e saturated stuff) foods, as even though we don't put on fat can still get heart disease.
I actually suffer from spots if I eat allot of crap, so don't get off completely free.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. I am not horribly skinny, most people would kill for metabolisms like ours! Maybe worth going to see the Doctor to get a blood test just incase there is something wrong. I did and there wasn't, i just have a fast metabolism

Yeah but if you consider the amount of saturated fat he'd consume in 5 burgers a day you'd probably realise that's grossly unhealthy and protein can be gotten from other healthier sources.

God i'd kill to be too thin *sigh*

However; nuts are very good, very fatty but not bad fat, same with avocado. Also maybe if you ate a lot of protein and worked out you could bulk out a bit but with muscle rather than fat? Hmmm, not sure the best way to do this as I've never had this problem *is still bitter*. Alternatively you could just put mayo on everything...

I could eat every 30 mins if I wanted to, infact I have done it on occasion, and you can eat when you're not hungry, its not hard, just eat until you cant physically move because you're so full, then after that, eat some more.
isnt pasta a good food for putting on weight healthily?

I'm pretty similar to you, zaf, I used to find it pretty hard to put on much weight. I'd normally have several slices of pizza, followed by a proper lunch, and then regular eating throughout the day of bananas, toast etc, also with a full proper dinner. I never seem to put on much weight at all. It's just natural, though. I eat a lot of meat, vegetables, fruit etc, go to the gym, exercise, but naturally just don't build myself up as fast as other people.
